POINT

Regadrin B is an agent for lowering raised blood fat values (triglycerides and cholesterol) in certain lipid-metabolism disturbances (lipid-lowering agent).
Regadrin B is used as supportive treatment to a diet or other non-medicinal therapies (e.g. exercise, weight loss) for the following disorders:
- severe increase in the triglyceride values in the blood (hypertriglyceridaemia).
- mixed increase in the lipid values in the blood (hyperlipidaemia) when a statin is not allowed to be taken or is not tolerated.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to bezafirate or one of the other ingredients of Regadrin B.
In severe kidney-function disturbances (serum-creatinine values over 6mg/dl or a creatinine clearance under 15ml/min).
In severe liver-function disturbances.
In gallbladder diseases with or without gallstones (as the possibility of the liver being involved cannot be ruled out).
In known light sensitivity of the skin (photo allergic or phototoxic reactions) after taking a medicine with an active substance from the group of the firates (certain lipid-lowering agents).
If you are a dialysis patient.
